I'm originally from NY, living in Albuquerque. Married, no children, one cat. I am a writer, with two published novels, "Accidental Rewards" and "Reverse Bonding" and others I am trying to place. I read up to 5 books a week, primarily mysteries, medical thrillers, police procedural and general women's fiction (as opposed to category romance). My full-time job is with the New Mexico Lottery, assisting lottery retailer outlets with licensing and billing issues and occasionally writing articles or profiles for the newsletters. I look forward to writing reviews as a way to validate all of the time I spend reading, as well as to stay in practice for my writing.
Natalie loves to read (Her husband says she owns too many books). She's been a fan of romance (especially romantic suspense), mystery, science-fiction/fantasy, and horror for years. Now she's also trying her hand at writing and currently working on a speculative short story and a romantic suspense novel. When she's not reviewing, writing, or reading, she's chasing after her son, Tommy Jr (8 months) and enjoying being a new mother.
Kim was born and raised in one of the most beautiful parts
of the world, the Pacific Northwest. As a child she spent more time making up
imaginary friends and stories than playing with other kids. Realizing in college
that such persuits were not conducive to "The Real World", she immediately
set out to find a hero to take care of her while she played (oops, wrong word!)
spent her days slavishly writing.
A little diddy about me: I am, with my children, we volunteer at our
local SPCA (BAPS: Brooks Animal Protection Society). We are cleaners, walkers,
give baths etc. I am also the Cat Adoption Co-ordinator. I also do tours through
our building (BAPS) for schools, summer camps etc. Another job of mine is as
a Teacher Assistant for our local Catholic School in Kindergarten. Then when
school is done, my job with BAPS goes full time which consists of finding homes
4 our lost/surrendered animals and fostering them when we can. My favorite past
time is reading and most of the time you can find me and reviewing mysteries/thrillers
for Scribesworld.
Kathleen Frost writes for business and pleasure, and reads for fun. A senior technical writer/trainer with over 15 years experience, she writes software manuals and online help for a living. For pleasure and relaxation, she writes novels, both romantic suspense and fantasy adventure.
Mother of three, grandmother of two, she sees her traveling background as an excellent basis for story locations and interesting characters. She has lived in seven states from New Hampshire to Texas and spent a year working in Hong Kong. Her major complaint is that she has more ideas for stories than time to write. Facing back surgery and a long recovery, Kathy is looking forward to being able to spend more time with her laptop and her fiction.
Kathy has been writing reviews for over a year and enjoys everything from science
fiction to cookbooks. Email: kfrost@austin.rr.com
David
G. LaGraffD.G. LaGraff is a mainstream fiction writer with three published e-novels to his credit and a fourth book coming out in Spring 2001. His specialty is graphic, no-holds-barred stories delving deeply into the heart of women victims, chronicling their transformations from victims to victors. As his intense characterizations and inventive stories suggest, LaGraff is a Beverly Hills watcher, entertainment banking expert, handgun afficionado, dabbler in things related to the mafia, sports car lover, cop commentator, and a keen appreciator of the transforming inner work of psychiatrists and rebel spiritualists. After two decades lived in the nation's largest city, a life filled with events often more bizarre than the lives of his characters, LaGraff fled the area to a remote Central Valley California farming community to better contemplate and capture the essence of his past life in "La La Land"--Los Angeles, the City of Angels, but a place with many devils close by. If you are looking for fast-paced, romantic, suspenseful, emotion searing contemporary stories where real people fight back to reclaim their lives from the darkness that surrounds them, you can find LaGraff's novels at Word Beams.
