The Web Ring links the home pages and web sites of Scribes World's residents the authors, writer's groups, and businesses whose pages reside at Scribes World) and volunteers on the Internet's World Wide Web (WWW). From any Scribes World Ring site you can go to the next site in the Ring, skip a site, see a list of the next 5 sites, or visit a random site in the Ring.
If you are a Scribes World volunteer, you are welcome to join the ring. (Residents will be added to the ring by the webmaster.) Just keep in mind that we prefer that the ring reside on the main page, or a mini-mainpage, not a page consisting only of other webrings. become annoying to navigate through. Apply by filling out the form below. All required fields must be filled in completely and accurately. Keywords and Description are optional; the rest are not.

Download a zipped file (13k) of both Scribes World Web Ring graphics, then unzip the file and upload both graphics to the directory ON YOUR SERVER where they will be called by the Scribes World Ring code.
For each image appearing here, place your mouse over the image you wish to save, right-click to get a pop-up menu on your browser, then choose "save picture as". Since both images are called from the Scribes World Ring code on your page, it is important to remember to save the images with the name of each Scribes World Ring graphic intact.
Once you have saved the two Scribes World Ring graphics, upload them to your server. Remember which directory you've placed the images in because you will need to change that information in the html code for the Scribes World Web Ring.
IMPORTANT: Do not reference these graphics from this page, from scribesworld.com, or from another Scribes World Web Ring member's page unless you've asked for permission!

You will receive your unique site ID number via e-mail. Please write this down and try not to lose it! You will need your site ID number to make any modifications, or to quit the Ring.
In the same email in which you receive your unique Scribes World Web Ring ID number, you will also receive the pre-configured html code to add to your page. You simply need to cut and past the information onto you page. The only change needed is to make sure the code points to the Scribes World Web Ring graphics where you've stored them ON YOUR SITE!
Make sure that the URL you enter into the Scribes World Web Ring queue is the same URL that points to the page where the Scribes World Web Ring graphics and code appear.
When you are finished, your Scribes World Web Ring graphics and HTML code will look like this:

Email the Scribes World Web Ring RingMaster. Your site will then be verified to make sure it meets Scribes World's Ring standards before being added to the ring. Please include your unique Scribes World Ring ID # and your email address in your email.
